How Does The DME Detect Boost Leak ?

How does the DME detect boost leak ?

Is it very sensitive to the slightest amount of leak

How much pre-leak is allowed before the DME detects it ?

It's not very sensitive in my experience. It compares boost vs. set point vs. duty cycle. If duty cycle is going up and boost isn't it assumes you have a leak.

P30ff ftl, I just had this occur to me like half an hour ago. I'd have to agree with Terry as I am sure I am having a massive leak enough to hear a siren.
