I was having the same issue p30ff at high rpm and it has been fixed by changing out the boost solenoids in my case. Boost is also right on target now and pulls like cray cray up top.

Here's a link. I actually ordered mine from tischer by entering the part number in since I'm local to them.
Make sure you check all fmic and charge pipe connections as well as vacuum hoses first before going the solenoid route.

So this was solved by adjusting slack out of the wastegate actuators? I noticed significant boost target improvements and quicker boost control once I adjusted mine last spring. Also had a JB4 customer with 30FF codes and very sloppy WGAs. After adjustment, no further issues.
We're going to see a lot of these kinds of issues as many owners pass 60/80/100k miles. Glad I got an extended warranty - waiting for turbos to go so I can upgradeJames Muskopf
