Safe road for some testing? Miami
Anywhere I can do some 1/4 mile runs safely and without any worry of passing cars/traffic/cops?
Located in Miami, FL. Obviously the track is a good choice, but I'm not going to be driving to Moroso everytime I need to log some data. Any help greatly appreciated!!!

try the highways, the normal roads have too many intersections, too many lights. the highway is your safest bet. 826, 836, 874, 878 are the good ones by me
asr also has a few good backroads by them that gets very little traffic, im sure if you get a ride abid will show you.

I was on 136 today when I went o Lujan. Looks like a good road but super bumpy. I wouldnt reccomend stopping in the middle of the 826 lol, but thanks for the info. Just wanted to know if there were any other roads. I guess Ill head out to Tamiami Airport tomorrow night for some tests. Anyone want to come be my guest!

you ever drive out to the 1/8th mile track near Okeechobee? the road leading to the track is also great, i think its called us27? smooth and flat. cops know about it though and can hide in the bush. i dont recommend the 1/8th mile itself though, traction issues there. the road leading up to it is like 5 miles of 2 or 3 lane flat black road though lol.

Yea the road leading to countyline. Its pretty far away, and its not a safe road because of cops, not traffic. sigh.
