    For the TSI motor, all they have now is the stage 3+. Stock engine internals and everything, they do recommend rods because of the torque that will come from this new turbo. This stage 3+ is a gt3071, bigger than the FSI stage 4 turbo and bigger than the TSI stage 3 turbo(gt28rs). Stage 3+ is almost like a stage 4, except no built motor. I think they're doing R&D for stage 4 release soon.

    My friend has a stage 3 TSI from APR. Had a spark plug issue, ruined one of his pistons. Bored out a little, forged pistons and rods are in his car now. He is pretty much ready for a stage 4 build whenever APR releases it. So for now, he bought the stage 3+ kit. They're on back order because of the custom injectors they release for the TSI.
    Doesn't it matter if the motor is transverse or not though?

    That would have to do with Audi FSI/TSI motors. I'm not familiar with that even though it is VW brother. I do believe it is the same though. Just go to Goapr.com and click audi 2.0t it will show up the same stages etc.
