it does when your trying to do a burnout Sticky. 70% of the time you'll spin one wheel or another. Its hard to get a good repeatable burnout and tire temp....which is super important if you want to turn a good et and not just a high trap.
It also helps in traction not just off the line. Last time I dragged my 335 I was one wheel spinning in 3rd gear at 80-90mph w cold drag radials. That sucked.
traction is everything, which is why a Jeep srt8 will beat lots of much faster cars down a 1/4 mile time and time again.

Absoultely, when doing a burnout, makes sense.
It does not really help with traction off the line the way most people think. They essentially work the same way off the line, the LSD shows itself more in turns.
I don't disagree, traction is everything in the 1/4 but an LSD doesn't really have an advantage over an open diff from a stop other than the burnout.BRAND NEW IN BOX 991.2 standard/non-pse SPW cat bypass pipe for sale - $899 shipped

Just cutting and pasting this:
This type of LSD has all of the same components as an open differential, but it adds a spring pack and a set of clutches. Some of these have a cone clutch that is just like the synchronizers in a manual transmission.
The spring pack pushes the side gears against the clutches, which are attached to the cage. Both side gears spin with the cage when both wheels are moving at the same speed, and the clutches aren't really needed -- the only time the clutches step in is when something happens to make one wheel spin faster than the other, as in a turn.BRAND NEW IN BOX 991.2 standard/non-pse SPW cat bypass pipe for sale - $899 shipped

Shiv showed logs of nitrous and none nitrous runs. The boost was lowered.
Larry also ran nitrous pre intercooler and got $#@! results and somehow that turned into running no spray lol.

Well Larry also ran his non-nitrous runs with the bottle in the car filled up... skeptics could say "sure" to that one as well
We are talking about a margin between Shiv's best runs on and off that are the same as Oldbooster's, right?
I don't know, I'll just give them both the benefit of any doubts I suppose. This is a dirty game though.BRAND NEW IN BOX 991.2 standard/non-pse SPW cat bypass pipe for sale - $899 shipped
