1998 Camaro : GT REAPER
Hey guys, I just got the car back from and my good this thing is a best. I am very pleased with all the guys over there.
Well guys I got the car sophomore year in high school and she looked something like this.
1998 Camaro Z28 168,xxx miles 2.73 gears.
(safety school)
First modification was flowmaster 80 series muffler no pics but second was OE replicas Zr1 from tomzwheels.com 17x9.5 all around (wish i got 11 in the back)
Next was a flat black berger panel
8000k Hids low and fogs from Brian2006's store.
Pacesetter LT's and ORY
Slp strut bar
(bar painted body color)
New Ls6 block, rebuilt -2cc pistons
188,xxx pulled the old motor(big thanks for rob and tom for help)
TSP LS6 2.5 ported heads
Custom Ground Cam
Painted LS6 manifold all put together!
Spiral cnc tb
on the way home from
What you missed with no pics is Performabuilt level 2 tranny, FTI 4000stall speed, 3.73 gears.
Start up vid!
I take it to a tuner who I have know for a long time and have him look over a couple things before we head to the track. Some things can be changed and some are ok. Go to the track go 12.1 @ 111 eh. was hoping for 11's. Well know stupid $#@! starts to happen. The tail shaft housing on the rear of the tranny starts to leak. We get it up in the air and find its cracked. So after fighting with the shop to refund me the money for the part, think it was like 89 dollars. That finally got settled.
Right around this time I left for Navy Basic, and A school. Was gone for the better half of a year and the car was just started up and driven a couple times. Fast forward to October 2010. I come home and start driving the car a little more. I realize that they never got a fuel pump or new injectors, still on stock 28 lbs injectors.
Fixed all those issues, while replacing knock sensors, and added BMR subframe connectors, Lower Control Arms, Relo Brackets, Panhard Bar, Torque Arm, Front sway bar and etc.
Then the stupid 10 bolt blows up. Find one with 4.10s a locker and a Girdle for 500 dollars. Swap em out. Travel home, then Im ready to go out for the night, make it 9.3 miles away from home the transmission takes a dump.
So get on the phone to Performa Built order a brand new 4L60e with a 9.5 billet 3600 stall speed. Thats installed now and went to the track got 12.1 @112 on a hot ass night spinning like crazy, so 11's soon.
Then got the car tuned at Hp Logic.
Current pic I have:

Very nice thread with the history posted like that. Only problem is the startup vid required a log in.
What is it putting down?

You do realize that video was made in 2007. The only copy of that video was on myspace. Yes was it a dumb ass video but we were in h.s. so you /inb4hondatech post is pointless

Actually according to an article in INC. Magazine Myspace registration is up something like 30% due its usefulness in business networking. Don't see how that ties into Hondatech.
