    Todays Virtual Dyno (another type)

The curve is from my car today. This is not the same virual dyno thas has become popular recently and is presented in other threads. It is a solution based on another guys work, which I finalized to this version two years ago. It is tested OK vs. real dynos and complies very good with them, e.g. with a real dyno on Enritas car. It take road elevation, air density (as a function of air temperature) and some other stuff into account, and of course all the usual stuff such as CV, frontal area and weight etc. Input data is Excel files from Racelogic logs.

My car is a e90 with FBO except STD exhaust after DP's. It has a CM meth system, which engages at 5 PSI and full flow at 12 PSI via a $#@!ty checkvalve.

The intake is a Mr.5 intake but with a 2.5" hose instead of 3" like he has. Really not much more to tell. Well the tune is the latest version of Procede V4 Autotune. No one has been able to convince me to upgrade to V5 performance wise, V5 has more bells and whistles on the dash but I dont care about that, a strong pull from low to high RPM is what counts. The boost i about 19.7 PSI at max boost. Even on dry road it is very difficult to get grip on 3rd, which is shown in the graph below. Blue is actual power, yellow SDT and purple is SAE The pull is made on 3rd and 4th gears.

Yea it runs very good at the moment, a part of the reason is it is cold and dry here. There is almost no change to hook the tyres on 3rd. When I tested with the Racelogic unit today the 100-200 km/h time was quite good, 8.3s, even though the first phase of the pull took 3.7 looong seconds 100-50 due to grip problem instead of the normal about 3s for 100-150. I guess you to will feel some extraordinary power and more when you begin to boost in this phenomenal weather.

Yes that would be interesting even though you will almost for sure outrun me. I really don's care if the car is a bit faster or slower than other high end 335's. The only thing that counts to me is to have a fun tool that feels OK to me.

I'm ready for a pull when you are though even if you probably will see me in the mirror. You have more power all over the band, MUCH faster gear changes with your old new AT, wider and lighter wheels and a rear diff which is very good now when the temperature i low. It was 50F only today when I did the pulls.

For the first time in years I got a limp today at high RPM, the margin has shrinked in this weather since the power is up some. I need to change plugs, they have 20000 hard kilometers on them. I have a feeling the cleaning with BG stuff takes a part in this to performance wise, but cant say for sure since there are many variables.

Get a 60-130, just follow benchmarks...easier to compare...according to a vid I did on my car 105-200 on cobb's stg1 is about 8secs from the looks of it but there's nothing like a vbox verified run

    Great numbers though

The 100-200 (km/h) on 8.3s is a vbox verified run, which includes a unfavorable long first phase 100-150 on 3.6s due to grip problem on third. I'll make a couple of 60-130 (mph) runs as well to get comparable figures but don't expect too much. This is a larger speed interval and will take a lot more time, especially since I'm running on stock turbos. RB's and alike have a lot more punch over the RPM range.
