This is pretty sweet, really liking what they did although I hoped they might do over 500 horsepower. Still, it is likely much lighter than the competitors although the weight isn't listed. It also pulls .90 g on the skidpad and this time has a tow package. I think it will be capable of a high 12 out of the box. Doesn't seem as muscular as the previous model, not feeling the rear.

The ass looks like an older X5 and evidently Jeep has followed MLB's lead and is now piss testing because there is no hint of sauce in this model--actually it looks like it was put on estrogen therapy.

But why do auto companies (BMW included) insist on making awkward SUVs go like rocket ships? Surely even with all their suspension mods, they still have the aerodynamic properties of a brick. I've always been a car person, and hate driving my wifes SUV quickly, it feels like it'll topple over!

Saw a black one of these on the Mass Pike when I came back from my LSD service last week.
I pulled up next to it and down shifted, but no go, a women was driving, probably her husbands car.
Those fukcing exhaust tips are menacing.

The new one looks okay, but I agree that they are adopting styling cues from other marques.

Amen. Had an '06 as well and loved the exterior but the interior plastics were absolute junk. Looks like the new interior is upgraded (less the monster garmin), I too would be happy with your compromise.
