It's very sad the mcoupe is totally. Shawn (the fabricator; Brian's friend) was driving. Him and his GF made it out okay. They spun around into a tree.
This is my signature...

The engine and turbo kit were recently transplanted into an M roadie
and sports a mere 475/425 I believe.
The owner "loves" lag in his turbo set ups.
He had it tuned by Nick G (IN PERSON) here in the deep dark south.
A few members have tried to talk him into a smaller turbo, but he wants nothing of it.
Full boost at 5300, whoo hooLast edited by milkt; 06-04-2010 at 03:53 PM.

I really have a hard time wrapping my head around the whole "no boost until 5000 + rpm" idea. I understand that you can get really big power numbers going this route with a retardedly over-sized turbo, but to what end? Other than drag racing or posting dyno queen numbers, what is the point? I mean really, you're driving along, minding your own business, maybe got your foot in it a bit, then all of a sudden...BANG! You hit boost at 5k rpm, spin the car out and hit a freaking tree.
That's what always pissed me off about the centi supercharger setup...it would finally start to feel like I had power at 5k rpm, then bang off the rev limiter in no time flat.

I agree it is an awesome manifold. I'am thinking about getting 1 as well. Can you post some pics of the 666 manifold you own so we can weep tears of joy. I cant think of a better manifold to buy then the Jon Volk manifold. When I buy 1 I will rename it the the 777 manifold so holy and not evil.
