    THE IDIOT IS RIGHT!

Just posted experiences that got deleted on e90.

CAR is GONE = I have a truck now.

If misinformation is the lay of the land then all of the forums are out to better the vendor and screw the customer.

I believe that they are all (including this one) biased to doing what is in the best interest of the supporting vendor - I hope that I have better luck with online with the truck forums....

However, my cherry is popped and I know better. Best advice to anyone is to meet enthusiasts in person - develop a friendship - then get sound advice. 2c

Congrats on the truck! It's too bad we were never able to try the JB4. I think it would have been free for you too if you had got the JB3 after 9/15/2010. Anyway all car forums are "as the world turns" type affairs but the good forums will actually try to help readers solve problems rather than just ridicule them.

    What truck did you get?

    Plus why was this deleted?

The post is a bit abstract, not sure what you are referring to or what happened.

My advice is to not let forums affect you that much. We have a good group here and are always willing to help you, with an n54, truck, or whatever. Good luck, and I hope you find what you are looking for.

^ He posted up his experience with Shiv not responding the his requests for beta testing product support when he was having trouble as a comparison to Shiv's ability to make time to stir the pot on things like possible JB engine failures. With the rest of the crazyness in the thread there was zero reason for it to be removed.

encinitas I hope you're enjoying the new truck. Post up some pics us over here

Remember, you can't always get what you want, but if you try - sometimes - you can get what you need!

+1 on not letting forum BS get you down. Similarly, be very careful who's advice you take. Sorting the fly sh*t from pepper is never easy on the internet.

Oh, yes, I thought that already took place though and then Shiv responded and things worked out?

Sorry it got removed, but it won't be removed here.

^ The turbo F150's are a great way to go.

Wonder what the deal is though? He hasn't really said what truck or really delved into what happened.

If the beta maps weren't working out why not report the problem to Vishnu and go back to using the last full release maps?

It's a strange world where a huge numbers of users are running "beta" like they've been fully vetted. I would be reluctant to run beta just because of the higher likelihood of issues.

OP can correct me if I'm wrong but I think the complaint is the lack of response to his inquiry for help. Yet Shiv always has plenty of time to bash his competitors. As I type this I see I have 30 emails sitting in my box... better get busy before I make the same mistake. Click here to enlarge

^ That's my understanding as well. Also as we know it wasn't the first time he felt let down my Vishnu customer service.

Best way to get a response from Shiv is to criticize him, gets his attention in a hurry. For all future Procede customer service requests, I suggest using this format:

Thread title: The Procede blew my motor and raped my grandmother!

Body: Now that I have your attention Shiv, here is my problem ____ _____ ___ ____ (fill in the blanks)

This is likely to become the preferred method of getting speedy customer service from Vishnu.

I think he may have just been saying his good-byes as he was done with the platform and was pretty irritated.
