Terry,
I think this graph is a poor interpretation - they load at a completely different rpm, making it appear alot different. Poor dyno operating, and slightly left field marketing attempt
While your torque curve is very AMG like and friendly to the right foot (personal preference) it definitely loads the rods harder and shocks drivetrain parts a bit more then a gradual roll on like Shiv or GIAC.
I've run cars both ways on Subarus for years. The cars with the flat torque curves spun clutches and broke transmissions alot easier. They all popped at torque peak.
The cars I locked the wg shut and ran a ton of boost as early as possible also torched the intercooler up sooner as I ran it hard down low - those cars tend to pull timing with the exact same specs as the cars that had a more gradual roll on.

The customer tuned it how he wanted it. Having tried lots of various boost curves personally, I've found a nice level torque curve to be the most fun. And most of our customers agree. But those that don't can reshape it easily. Some prefer a huge torque lump down low and a heavy taper up top. To each their own.

The torque curve looks like all your other off the shelf maps. I'm not talking about whats most fun - i agreed its most pleasing however many of us found over time what ramping the boost down low can do to the car.

We used to have a "street tire" racing map that had stock like boost down load and ramped up to peak boost at 5500rpm. It was fun at times but in the end its just easier to press the gas pedal 1/2 way down low and all the way when you're ready. If you want to setup something like with the JB3 just set torque low like 20% and HP to 100%.
