It is great magazines are finally using dynos to see just how badly manufacturers (BMW in particular) are sandbaggin output in the turbo era. Car and Driver got some really high torque figures from the Supra B58 on a Dynojet so it is great to get some Mustang figures for context.

Except for the fact that World Motorsports highly corrects their Mustang dyno meaning using the figures in the context of other Mustang dyno figures is pointless.

World Motorsports by all accounts has a top of the line wind tunnel though so they an simulate real world air flow but these figures read more like a Dynojet than a Mustang:

The Mustang dyno by default corrects to SAE output. The only reason to mess with it is so that people who dyno don't get upset their numbers are lower than Dynojet figures which is pretty lame in all honesty.

Regardless, the figures for the Supra are 332 wheel horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. It is definitely tuned for a big torque hit down low based on this curve and the Car and Driver Dynojet curve which are similar.

The peak torque figure is much lower here and seemingly much more realistic than the 427 lb-ft figure Car and Driver recorded.
