Oh wow a custom sleeve? That is crazy. Is that because no one makes a slightly oversized N54 piston yet?

That is awesome. I haven't looked into it at all but does anyone make oversized N54 pistons in case you have to bore a cylinder out?
I was always told if the scuffing on the cylinder wall will catch your fingernail it needs to be bored instead of just honed. That is good to know and lucky it worked for you! Keep us updated on how the motor lasts.

Yes, JE and CP will make oversized pistons. I have a set of 1 size over (+.5mm) to allow for fresh boring to match pistons. I got them through VAC.

I will make a build threat once I'm all done (~1 month from now).
