Great video here from the recent Shift-Sector roll on race event that took place this past weekend at the Coalinga, California airstrip. In this race video you have a BMW M3 taking on a Porsche 911 turbo. The Porsche is a 997.1 Turbo model with an automatic transmission (the PDK dual clutch was not available for the 997.1 Turbo models). It features GIAC ECU tuning and upgraded turbochargers courtesy of 68mm VTG turbos from Champion Motorsports.

The BMW M3 specifications other than having an ESS-Tuning supercharger are not provided. It is also not known if the car is a dual clutch model or manual transmission model. What is known though is the the Porsche 911 Turbo is able to make fairly quick work of it up top. Definitely an impressive 911 Turbo especially considering it is clearly the horsepower getting the victory as the M3 takes a slight initial lead which is overcome.
