    bootmod3 tuning - stock F82 M4, turning things up a little

Here's a log of a stock M4 on pump gas only this time turning things up a little with some custom tuning.

As most of you know from the initial stock car's datalog posted earlier the S55 runs about 13-14psi down low ramping up from there towards redline to about ~19psi.

Here we have added quite a bit of midrange and another 1-2psi top end for about 20-21psi holding throughout the RPM range. Ignition timing is stable without any significant timing pull and fueling is looking a lot better not going as rich as on the stock tune which was going down into the mid 11s in the top end at WOT.

You can also see how much smoother we have the throttle plate working here which is noticable from the seat of the pants feeling. On the factory flash you could feel a slight hesitation under WOT in the mid 5k RPM range and up which was also very evident on the previous log.

What you can also see is how the S55 uses the throttle plate for boost control during spool mode to build up pressure, very much like the N55 but unlike the N54.

Wouldn't that be a 'virtual' throttle angle as that engine uses valvetronic? That would make sense as running lower valvetronic "opening" down low would also come with lower duration, which is beneficial down low.
