The future of Mercedes Styling shown by design head Gorden Wagener, 2025 design study
In an interview with Auto Motor Und Sport the head of Mercedes design Gorden Wagener presented a design study showing the direction of the brand into 2025. He states he wants to create a classic appeal of the brand without a frenzied, edgy approach. Maybe he is the anti-Bangle? This is translated from German through Google so take it for what it is worth but the future designs are to feature long, sweeping hoods and pedestrian impact protection will play an increasing role in the design of the cars. Check out the pictures of the future design study.

Not sure what to make of concept cars but that is very sleek looking. Suicide doors on the back?
Those wheels are huge and the tires very low profile. Maybe they think someone is going to improve our roads by 2025?
No plates either. Maybe ID will be by transponder.
Looks like people will be getting shorter in the future or lacking headroom.
You can see an extension of current design in this study.
Interesting new future CLS .
Interesting to see what they think about the future today.

It is cool that they are already thinking toward 2025 and just kind of goes to show how far ahead designers have to think.
The CLS just came out and they are likely thinking about the next generation or already have it on the boards. It is a never ending game and a tough one at that.BRAND NEW IN BOX 991.2 standard/non-pse SPW cat bypass pipe for sale - $899 shipped
