Why all the bimmer on bimmer hate??

guys i frequent this and a couple of other bmw forums and i have a question, why does it seem like the bmw community have so much hate and anger within it self?? 335 vs m3, gintani vs ess, yesterday i was reading a thread on here saying what a holes the m5 guys are who think there e60's are superior to the m3's. I mean i just dont get it, it seems like its past the point of friendly competition its actually hate!! Byz with the lambo is a friend of mine but when he was posting about m5/m6 being represented as faster than the gallardo shouldn't we be proud that one of our bmw's bone stock can walk a 200k lambo?? but that wasn't the case we cosigned his side of the argument!! do you think the z51 guys hate the z06 guys hate the zr1 guys?? do the c63 guys hate the e63 guys? WTF GUYS!?!??! WHAT GIVES!?!?!!?

There is only one explanation, Gustav is a woman constantly on the rag and Jason has a Napolean complex. I think that is basically it.

The BMW community just seems to be the most divided with the most internal fighting of any automotive group. Do M3 owners have no friends? Are the majority of owners assholes? I don't know. There is also a certain demographic that proliferates 3 series ownership.

Also, the state of the BMW messageboards is absolutely the worst of any other automotive community out there, it has bred a ton of hate.

You have m3forum which is left in the hands of a bunch of corrupt mods like Rez and John_T that only exists to cater to people who don't own BMW's who sit in OT and +1 each other all day over "lulz." The internet tough guy crowd.

M3post is ESS biased and censored in general and that has bred gintani vs. ess resentment. E90post and M3post being split created a divide between M3/335 owners and also due to the administrators choosing to side with the N54 crowd. No reprimands for e90post members infiltrating m3post and disrupting the forum with 335 vs. m3 bullshit and that situation just grew and grew spinning out of control. Moderation wasn't used the way it should be, by just deleting the issues and banning users they never resolved the true problems which still foster.

M5board is run by a guy who is biased toward the M5 and is a whore. It is an older crowd whose idea of mods and racing is removing their charcoal filter. When the forum admin says 1/4 mile times are useless for showing the performance potential of a car and the membership accepts that, it shows what you are dealing with. That crowd does have the M5 is better than everything mentality, I'm proof, as I challenged that stereotype and was removed for doing so. It isn't an open community, Gustav doesn't care if accurate information is there all he wants is for everyone to keep quiet and for it to run smoothly so he can cash his checks with no waves disturbing access to his gold mine.

Bimmerforums is a board living in the past but the forced induction section is extremely interesting with some of the coolest people you will meet. However, blatant censorship and favoritism has created an atmosphere of resentment and hate. That has spilled over to here because those users can not address those issues there. You see what I'm saying?

We have by far the largest share of true automotive enthusiasts here. Various guys all getting along who just want top performance. There really isn't much hate here but there is a ton of hate for other forums as many people have been banned from these other places and it creates resentment. The larger communities fostered the hate which spilled over and it is aimed right back at them. Overall this is a pretty chill place with a far more informed base group who is far more willing to mod and have fun. You also don't see the censorship or abuse so topics don't disappear. We work the issues out and try to resolve them, not just silence people. You don't fix the hate and anger by not talking about the issues and pretending they don't exist, that just means when they show it is going to be far more of a disruption/eruption. There is a lot of hate/anger/animosity in young men to begin with and with that demographic dominating the entry level 3 series you see what you see sometimes.

happens there's insureance issues.

There's other places to run but nothing would be better then airstip. Don't have worry about cops and safer. I'm thinking we might be able to do this. Hoping anyways because that would be a awesome day. Plus the lambo dude can make gnarly videos.

The 3/135 guys act like driving god's chariot. My car is better than M3 cz JB this JB that.

M3 drivers just rave about their cars like no end. Obnoxious.

M5 guys have been chill comparatively.

But i swear the biggest BMW cocks are the ones with least optioned bottom of the barrel cars. One stupid idiot tried telling how his 323 was better than my GTR just cuz it had a BMW roundel. Saying it showed class and money. Newsflash my GTR costed me $ 130k.

I dont know why BMWs (plus most of the european cars) inflate one's ego. Heck my s500 costed $150k but i still love my toyota more than it.

I didnt buy the benz cuz it has class and will inflate ego, mind you i live in Abu Dhabi where S class is as common as a 3 series in US. i liked it, i bought it.

Sorry if i sound rude or biased against BMWs, I'm not. Probably will get the new 5 series.

Anyways this forum is a lot better than others. Especially e90post.

PS: You can say alot of this stuff about other car brands, but this shit prevails in BMW forums the most.

it probably has something to do with the fact that 3 series is an "entry" level car for a reason, and that people around here have to work for years to get the money to afford it, hence they defend it. as opposed to somone that was born into money and just buys whatever they want because they didn have to earn it, and can drop 1ook+ on a nissan

also, i know M3 are better than a 335, choice was fiancial for me, not quality.. but as it stands, now M3's need FI to compete with their little brother, the tuned 1/335's

And? 335's need forced induction to compete with naturally aspirated M3's. It works both ways, regardless, FI vs. FI is a clear distinction.
