Free MHP V3 E90/E92 S65 V8 Tune for one BimmerBoost Member
MHP would like to demonstrate their tuning ability on the BMW platform and will be giving a tune to one BimmerBoost member at absolutely no cost. Any member interested will need to get before and after dynos. Preference for users who are also able to get Vbox or track times. If a user interseted is in Southern California, use of a Vbox can be arranged. Peak gains are 32HP/22lb/ft at the crank on 93 octane. The tune retails for $2295 and is currently on sale at $1495. The V3 tune includes the following:
- V-Max elimination
- TQ management elimination
- Optimized A/F
- Modified ignition timing
- WOT and part throttle tuning
- Modified Vanos maps
- Eliminated DbW TB delay
- Increased rpm limit/shift point (+250rpm)
- 93US/98 RON and 100 Octane Race Maps

Is that on a stock motor or was the dyno done with headers and other supporting mods?

I'm surprised that they pulled that much more out of it. That dyno was on what octane fuel? Also what is the minimum octane rating of the car from the factory? (I understand it can adjust timing anyway)

The non-hp benefits are just icing on the cake, GOOD JOB MHP! :eusa-clap:

91 but it will take 87 if it has to.

Thanks guys, we are looking forward to this as much as you. We haven't pushed the BMW tuning nearly as hard as the AMG and there's no excuse for it, the remapping will speak for itself.

My friend Ryan with the E92 M3 is definitely down for this.
He has Eisenmann Race, RPi Scoops, and a BMC filter.
RD Sport springs too but that has nothing to do with the engine haah

I am getting several requests from people who have friends who would be interested. They must be BimmerBoost members, we want to do document this fully and see their impressions first hand.
