STICKY - How do these cars specs compare to the GINTANI modded E9x
Thx.. great videos and thread
Did you ever confirm which ESS kit he was running?
AT this point i dont even car, he told me 600, then it was posted as 650, then the video before says 625, another 650 ect ect.. All I know is he was a cool guy and is down to run again. I would assume he is at least a 625 now if not 650, ill ask him. I look forward to the next one, hopefully lose so i have a reason to upgrade - the next level Evolve kit has to be nuts if this one is so sick :)
BRO! The @rick@defiv kit is the SHIT!
Ive said it before and ill say it again, ALL my shifts are super tight and the car jumps forward. @M&M and I had a discussion before about nailing the shift points perfectly and the car jumps, well.. it does it everytime. That alone was well worth the price. I have YET to have ANY wheel hop in ANY situation Ive put it through. Its a MUST for DCT cars and very very very highly reccomended for 6MT cars.

if you follow green accel line, the first "shake" you see is wheelspin on the 2-3 shift, after that you see 2 different spikes, those are at the shifts, thats what the defiv does everytime :)
performance wise, my car has all the right pieces now - minus BBK - that it needs to be absolute perfection. Custom paint and im done.. until i see this set of cams come to fruition ;)
Nice - this might be on my upgrade list. I am staying NA, but will be adding more and more as I go without a rush. It's my DD, so I hate not being able to drive it. Point is, I was curious how it felt vs. a bushings upgrade - and am glad it made a noticeable difference.
P.S. - Not sure if you ever looked into it, but for guys like you and @Sticky who are into running your cars often - Turner Motorsport sells some badass bushings for our car. You can get a solid aluminum bushing for the DCT Transmission and the Engine to ensure you have almost no power loss through the chassis. I never heard any reviews of it, and it's for "race use only" - but so is most of the crap we put on our car. I am just waiting to hear someone's review :)
