Iroz Motorsport misleading people on Audi 2.5 TFSI records - APR vs. Iroz 2.5 TFSI tuning beef?

the problem is, Marc (stockguru aka ttrssleeper) was trying to manipulate a database list that has current best RS3/TTrs times on audizine and he got caught and now has been banned from having anything to do with the list, so now he goes out spreading lies to make himself look better and tries to make others look bad ... he's been doing this since early 2000's in the audi scene ..... he's been banned so many times from audizine and audiworld and keeps getting caught, so now he comes over here where no one knows him and starts up with the same crap

he makes GUSTAV from the bmw world look like the most honest person in the world compared to him :)

Jesus I don't have time to read all the wall of text comments but they didn't get some lightweight jockey to race the car. Lexie the girl is dating or married to the dude and they own the car together and both race it.

Yeah there was REVERSIBLE weight reduction and sure they were downplaying what was really involved in getting the record but they aren't lying about mods.
Removing the seats are extremely easy and free for anyone to do. As far as I see they never claim "full weight" in the record.
Removing the mufflers aren't even that extreme to remove some significant weight and lots of people run lightweight batteries.

Iroz is a good tuner and an impressive shop. APR is cool too but if I owned one of these cars I would take it to Iroz for sure. The dude eat sleeps and breathes the 07k engine.

Also, screenshotting Hank's list of mods and saying that is PROOF he is lying or whatever is so childish. It is extremely common for people to only list power mods when someone asks. Because it gets tedious listing every little thing done to the car.
He said all of the power mods and doesn't make it any less impressive that this record was done on stock turbos. Who cares if they have drag slicks and removed seats and mufflers?

I personally assume serious racers do everything in their power to run the fastest time and it is extremely common to chase stock turbo records. No one except little whiny babies complain that people remove weight or change tires lol.

A $1600 FMIC
A $1000 downpipe
A $1300 air intake
A gutted interior with no seats
NO exhaust, NO cats, NO mufflers. Fumes o'plenty.
FULL bias-ply slicks (which require tubes, screws, etc) which aren't street legal

I went 10.33@130 with:

Stock FMIC
Stock downpipe, stock cats, stock mufflers, bone stock exhaust system
Stock air intake except for a K&N drop in
A FULL interior with all seats
DOT legal drag radials

You are so incredibly clueless LOL. I was the one who started the spreadsheet. I am still the owner of it. I gave Brian EDIT access to it. He then copied it and STOLE my data, except it now looks like crap because he has no idea what he's doing. In the past 2 months that we both had write access to the spreadsheet, he added about 5 timeslips and I added over 90. So like I said on the other forum, his new spreadsheet which is just mine copied (except he didn't know how to do it properly) will suffer in the coming days, weeks, months, years, etc. since mine will continually get new and unique content and his will be the same old shit. Unless, of course, he steals mine again but this time I'm keeping mine private. It's everyone else who stands to lose, not me. It got to where it was because of my hard work and dedication.

There will also be video when and if I run 9's with the stock turbo, too. Don't you worry about that.

I am the founder and owner of the 1/4 mile spreadsheet. Still am. Like I said, Brian was given WRITE access to it. In the two months that we both maintained it, he added about 5 timeslips and I added 90+. On Sunday he STOLE the contents of the spreadsheet and pasted them INTO HIS OWN SPREADSHEET. What it all boils down is Hank Iroz stonewalling people on social media. He makes three posts the night the car goes 10.2 and lists ZERO about the car being gutted, no seats, no exhaust, no mufflers, no cats, full bias ply non street legal slicks, etc. This would be fine except no less than 10 different people asked specifically in the comments about what tires were on the car, what weight reduction it had and he FLAT OUT IGNORED THEM yet he had enough time to bash the competition in the same comments, such as by agreeing with one poster who said he's seen certain hybrid cars running the same time (not true BTW -- they've gone 9.7-9.8 consistently).

What it all boils down is money. The good old fashioned buck. Hank would rather stonewall people than answer their questions because then people will think the 10.2 was simply achieved with Stage 2 parts and he will sell a lot more of them. If people find out that they have to gut out their interior, run no seats, no exhaust, no mufflers, no cats, put a jockey behind the wheel, non street legal full slicks requiring tubes and screws, etc. they're less likely to purchase the Stage 2 parts from Iroz, because they'll then know just how much it takes to run those numbers in the 1/4 mile...

Putting in all the appropriate data like I do for anyone else in the spreadsheet. Everything was put in just like anyone else's entry. I put in the TIRE field my exact Hoosier DR2 drag radials. Hank, on the other hand, lied and tried submitting a timeslip to be added to the list with incorrect information, such as street tires instead of slicks. He then got caught and you saw the interaction because I gave you the screen shot of it.

Please show me ONE shred of evidence that of what you're accusing me of. I mean ACTUAL EVIDENCE, not just some jealous loser running their mouth like we have plenty of today. You won't find it.

Again, because you're so wrong on everything... There was ONE spreadsheet which I started and currently own. Two months ago I gave BRIAN SAXON edit access to it. This is the one which had been LINKED TO in the first post of that Audizine thread up until this PAST SUNDAY when he CHANGED THE LINK to reflect a NEW SPREADSHEET which he simply copied/pasted the contents of my original spreadsheet to (check out the last edit date and time for that post). So now there are two spreadsheets... The one currently linked in his Audizine post (as of this past Sunday when he changed the link) which is the one with the PLAGIARIZED data which is also missing columns, timeslips, etc. and the ORIGINAL one which I started and continue to maintain. Like I said, over time his will turn to total crap because I was the one doing 95% of it.

The response Brian made which you keep posting is something I TOLD HIM TO DO VIA TEXT MESSAGE. I told him to tell people that I have nothing to do with the new and crappy spreadsheet which he stole from me, because I didn't want people thinking I was associated with such a turd spreadsheet. I continue to maintain mine and you can find that link on the second to last page of the Audizine thread. That is the one which up until Sunday had been linked to in the first post. That spreadsheet is still alive and kickin'... Brian has been thrown off it and I still maintain it. It's just not being linked in the first post anymore since it's Brian's thread and he's pawning off his own "new" spreadsheet as his own even though it's 95+% my own hard earned work. But like I said over time people will see huge differences between the two as his will be lacking and not contain all the new timeslips and information like mine will have.

I think what you may not be understanding is the 1/4 mile list itself is not hosted on Audizine. It's hosted on a Google spreadsheet. The Audizine thread is simply LINKING to that external site. I think that's where you keep getting this wrong. The thread itself is just for people to post their times and then we use that information to make an entry to the spreadsheet located on Google's site. Perhaps this is where you're getting confused. However with that said, Audizine is not the primary source of content for the spreadsheet. Most of it is scoped out on social media, user's groups, etc. It's quite challenging find new timeslips to add. It's almost like a game of scavenger hunt... And I enjoy it.

I continue to maintain mine and you can find that link on the second to last page of the Audizine thread. That is the one which up until Sunday had been linked to in the first post. That spreadsheet is still alive and kickin'... Brian has been thrown off it and I still maintain it. It's just not being linked in the first post anymore since it's Brian's thread and he's pawning off his own "new" spreadsheet as his own even though it's 95+% my own hard earned work. But like I said over time people will see huge differences between the two as his will be lacking and not contain all the new timeslips and information like mine will have.

There is clearly beef here but I don't see anything he is posting as ban worthy and he did raise some valid arguments although I think there are definitely question marks as to his motivation.

Dick move that he stole your work but technically it's yours and depending on where it was hosted under copyright protection. You could go after him if it is a big deal to you as it would be to me if someone stole my work (which happens more often than you think).

I'm building a performance database anyway and I will happily include the data and keep it under copyright protection.

This to me is a big and important point. On Instagram the wheels/tires were not disclosed until after this blew up with questions about the run.

It could also be he honestly didn't know but come on he knows what it takes to hit a 60 foot like that.

Anyway, Hank is pissed, other people are pissed, and so forth but ultimately we have the truth and that is what matters to me.

This can all be handled better from all sides going forward. There isn't any need for the calls to ban (seriously?), insults, and arguing.

Agreed. I've seen this guy doing the same BS for over a decade. He really has a knack for mucking up constructive dialog and doesn't hide from the fact that is what his intentions are. Not my forum, though...

You're only half right... While it's true that I register new accounts it's not because I want to "troll" people, but rather because my "real" ones get banned for telling it like it is and being so outspoken. The style for which I make my points tends to piss people off and that takes away from the arguments I try to make. In all fairness I've been a member of this forum for over 2.5 years now and haven't been banned (yet). :D

Banning people based on what they do on other sites sets a dangerous precedent and I will not be part of it.

Just for the record, the first amendment is about the government infringing upon the individual right to free speech. Any private individual or resource can make up whatever rules they want in that regard, and infringe on it all they want (an employer for example).

@HankIroz sent me some new e-mails showing screenshots that he submitted runs mentioning the tires.

That would mean this whole thing is blown out of proportion over nothing as he did not lie about the tires. That is how it appears from the screen shot I saw.

I'm starting to think this is more an issue of Instagram and juggling the number of replies than anything else. Also the owner of the car not mentioning the full mod list which I did quote/screenshot.

So while maybe the owners held back on the number of mods Iroz did divulge the full list which we obviously now have.

So, maybe this can be put to bed as a social media misunderstanding more than anything deliberately misleading.

He does the same thing on all the other forums, like Audizine for example where he's now buddy buddy with Anthony the owner. He's a good engineer alright... social engineer that is!

All I did was respond to people's questions on IG about the car in question because he wouldn't and he blocks me for it. Now mind you nothing in my responses was untrue or disparaging in any shape way or form. All I did was provide the exact details of the car. And I got blocked. That speaks volumes of Hack Iroz's motivations. It's clear he wants the fanboys to think they can run the same numbers if they buy his stage 2 parts. Ironically his stage 2 parts played little to no role as his FMIC and DP have been proven over and over again to not add any quantifiable gains to a tuned 2.5 on ethanol.

If he felt you were harassing him with multiple usernames nobody would blame him for blocking you. The truth did come out which is what you wanted, right? I commend you for making sure the full details were known.
