Just screwed up my BB flash - any options?

This dinan tune must be fucking bionic. I tried flashing a different file over today and first it came up valid, then when I went to write it said file not valid, must be 209xxx Mb, started the write process for like a nanosecond and failed it, and then my software came back up as if80s which is freaky...seems like there may be some traces of the dinan tune that remained outside of the partitions that we write and that even a basic DME update can touch. Anyway laboring through another long ass write before I switch to the desktop that worked for me last time. Now I'm back at ije0s with module not present doing an hour forced write. Fingers crossed it works on the first shot but that's usually not what happens for me

I admire your resolve. I'm somewhat at a loss considering you flashed with ISIS back to stock, that's pretty much as good as it gets before dealer, someone at Dinan really wanted your cars soul. I think what you need is some kind of MSD81 exorcist...

Is it an option to kindly ask Dinan to remove their addware from your DME?

Addware. That isn't far from the truth.

Pretty soon tuners will be putting files in your ECU that they charge you extra once you want to remove it. Double the $.

Switched computers and used the tweaked version (1.2) of the BB flash and it wound up ok, even though the voltage was 0 and module present listed as false. For some reason the Mac I use on the 07 still won't work on this one. Kind of find it odd that the original if80s came up on the first attempt but on the other computer it came up ije0s. Something funky going on. From now on I'm only using the desktop to flash. I read through many pages on n54tech and some people won't have results unless the laptop is hooked up to a charger, some won't work IF its on a charger etc. The desktop seems to do ok so I'm sticking with it

There is some usb power save sleep feature that needs to be disabled on newer hw running Windows.
