I think the EFR twin scroll will spool the best out of all single turbo kits.

EFR*ks are known for incredible transient response, I can show you a ton of graphs where GTX units out spool similar sized EFR's.
Yea, likely on an Evo X...with the best flowing head second to only the Honda K series. I had an Evo X prior to my 135i, it's heads flow numbers shit all over ours it's not even funny. Plus it has MIVEC on both cams (same as VANOS). They can spool turbos ridiculously fast for having only 2.0L displacement.
Yea we have 1L more displacement, but smaller exhaust ports, and a much worse flowing head.
Still talking with no resulrs I see. I'm actually on your side. Seems like the only time you come in here, and talk trash is when you are drunk. Thankgiving night, in here with more talk. How about lets see that 9180 dyno with 400 ft lbs at 3K, that's the only thing that matters. Until then, its a bunch of hot air
You look like a fool right now. I can't wait to see this kit underperform to your expectations to see what nonsense you use as an excuse.
While I agree with you Tony, a pinch of your own advice on behavior would help your image on here a lot. The newer people just don't get you.
you do realize that your posts to Tony are exactly what you're crying about...amirite.
Give this man a beer!:obscene-drinkingbu:
Or i'm going to laugh if this turns out like the inlet war did lol.
Honestly baffled by this. Can you point me to a product we have ever announced in the past 3 years, that not been announced with results, maybe when we first arrived we announced a few products with no results, but its been literally years. As for my image. That's truly a funny one, that people still think I give two shits about what people think of me personally makes no sense. Its pretty clear I do not. I love the haters, all of them. The more the talk about us, the more attention we get. The more the merrier
In order for this to be an inlet war, you would need a guy selling cnc manifolds from cheap parts he finds on the inernet, and another guy knocking off the CNC manifold while telling everyone the SS manifold doesn't fit. There is no war to be had here. As I said I'm on Leen's side. I hope this thing pans out
If you weren't allowed to talk shit while drunk on this forum I'd have maybe 6 posts.
If keeping people happy means using shady marketing tatics, lying about their shop capabilities, knocking off people products, but keeping a clean image. I'l. Gladly choose, 100% transparency, innvovating products, breaking records, and having some people not like me. Its a no brainer as far as I am concerned. I do agree if I was a little less real about stuff I might make a few more friends, but it is what it is
Its so hard to be patient when youre awaiting a supposedly badass kit. I dont want to take sides. I just wants pics and dyno graphs. Hell ill even test the kit for everyone :awesome:
Steed put this Tony guy out of business already. Cheers
I hear you but good things take time. I just recieved a package of fittings for oil and water etc from John and i will be making new ones to suit the kit John is making. They are simple pieces but they still take time and that is what i will be doing this weekend. I'm hoping to have all of them done and shipped to John next week so he can hook everything up and fire the car up.
To all the doubters, Why do you care? I certainly don't! This is just a fun project for me and a showcase of my skills and knowledge. It's not something that I am relying on for income and i'm doing it mostly because I really like John at CES who i have known and respected for many years now.
Leen, come on man. 3 posts back you were talking about patent infringement, how you are going to stick it to Motiv, how well this kit was going to work, etc, etc. Now you don't care and this is a fun project. We all know that's not true, as someone who takes pride in your work, every project worked on gets a high level of care and passion. Do what we do, embrace the haters, the more they talk about you, the more you win. As stated previously, I am your side, coming from the diesel world, its awesome to see someone from that world step in, and do something cool. As I suggested, just don't say anything else, and drop a brand new thread with results as the very next thing you post. That will shut everyone up.

Awesome. Im just going to continue buying all the other parts i need to run a single turbo in the mean time. Fueling, clutch ect...
Hahaha, so true. This made me laugh.
I have a set of AN fittings I bought and no longer need (was originally going custom kit).
I have both 6AN water feeds, a 6AN screw on cap to block the one you won't be using, the 4AN oil feed, and a plug for one oil return. It cost me $150 total. Let me know if you're interested, I'd do $100 shipped. You'd only need a water block and a 10AN oil return to complete it.
I said I'm doing this "mostly" because I like John. Coming in a close second is stomping Motive into the dirt and the last reason was that we quite often have draws on Facebook for people to win a manifold. Out of 550 entrants, of which 449 were diesel truck guys, the winner was a BMW guy lol! I kinda took that as a sign. Later on the next draw we only had perhaps 300 entrants and a similar ratio of BMW guys and sure enough Jake Yamona won that draw! I figure I'm being told in no uncertain terms to make the 335. Good to see you have faith in what I'm doing here too. BTW, I was in the BMW world designing and making the HPF manifolds long before I ever made a Diesel manifold.
