The Speed Steed manifolds are top rate. It would be great if they make this one for the BMW.
It seem that they are making it for the BW EFR series turbochargers.
With a slight change in the head mounting hole placements, it could fit the N54 and N55 as well as the N52.
All 3 engines could use the same SS turbo manifold and use a smaller to bigger BW EFR turbos depending on the desired power level.
I say build it and I will bolt it to my 328 N52 and use the BW 6255 or 6258 turbo, the little guy.
I just need the manifold, BW EFR turbo and a downpipe.
Not that i know of. They arent really a bmw shop. I just went there to pick up some VP fuel and happened to see it. The turbo is going on a evo. Its a full track car

Only way to get the EFR with internal wastegate to fit, as they are huge. You could definitely make an equal length one for a normal TS T4 turbo, and say place the waste gates on top of the manifold. That would fit fine, but WG placement wouldn't be ideal and would hurt flow a bit. You could also use a single WG for a TS turbo, as long as it is divided up to the WG flange.
You guys should all jump on the Cummins Forums, and let all the guys making 900WHP, and 1800LBS of TQ that an asymmetrical manifold is not as true twin scroll, and is restrictive. I honestly love this place, but so many "experts" by way of reading things on the internet. No offense to the people I like.
I mean shit, here is the "crappy" cast version making 700WHP, and 1350 WTQ, the flange is all the one to one end. What are the "experts" going to say about that?

@Fishayyy... That is not the only way to make a twin scroll bottom mount manifold. I have a tubular bottom mount twin scroll manifold instead of a log style.
Some interesting design features on their e36 twin scroll manifold, note single divided wastegate location/design and then 10.5-10.6 sec 1/4 mile, 138-142 MPH. Not too shabby.

No one here said it wouldn't make power. No one here said it is not a true twinscroll manifold. It's simply not as ideal as a twinscroll manifold with equal length runners. There is always some gains to be had with true equal length runners, which is why companies go to such lengths to achieve it, but it would have to be tubular. A log style will never have completely equal lengths anyway, do to the nature of the log style.
Thing is working, and working well. That dyno is very comparable to our Stock Frame 700WHP dyno, not bad for an older GTX35R, on 109. That really is great spool, and power for 26psi. Overlaid it just for fun. Curves are remarkably similar, but that thing is making smooth early power. 686 graph is with vanos tuning the 699 run has OTS vanos. This is a great example of what a properly set up 700WHP E9X should be running in the 1/4 mile. Mid 10's at 140MPH.

So the point is? As this is essentially a good flowing log style, and as is the manifold you guys sell. The point is, lots of internet experts to pick shit apart, when the company actually invented that manifold design, and has been making them for years. This thing will work fine. I do not think its ideal personally, but everyone is a shit talker on the sidelines, while building nothing themselves. Obviously not you J. You have done as much as anyone to push this platform forward.
