Not sure how many of you are into F1 but, here are some of our videos from inside the factory that give a insight to what we do.

I was wondering if you were working for Red Bull because of a remark you made in another thread.

Welcome to the forum :)
I'm a big F1 fan, always have been.
Pitty the BBC does not transmit all races these days.
That means I have information blackout on racing sundays until I see the race. And no live timing...
Here in NL F1 went behind cable Sport1, and I have FTTH, not cable. That meant I could at least sleep in on 2 sundays :(

Sorry I'm not a big RB fan, although I am a true believer in Adrian Newey.

There are ways of watching the races online for free that im sure will work in Holland.

I was always a McLaren fan and in many ways still am but, i guess working where i do i tend to support Red Bull more now :)

I could watch pay per view online, but I do not fancy sitting behind my PC durig a race or qualification.
I like to enjoy F1 in my comfy chair in front of the big screen, laptop next to me for live timing and such.
Raikkonen and Button fan myself, actually fan of most Finnish F1 pilots historically :)

I use SportLemon and stream it from my PC to the TV , they show all of practice, qualifying and the race.

Very interesting videos. Thanks for sharing.Btw I would be interested in your opinion about the Vettel "scandal" and how he apparently had to apologize to the whole team. Not sure if you're allowed to share your take on this though? IMHO it got totally blown out of proportion. And for the team championship a "multi 12" is just as good as a "multi 21" ;)Greets,Christian

Yeh came in and apologised but i "hope" he didnt mean it! I want a fighter in the car. Hard for a team to win really, we got hounded because Seb decided to race, Mercedes got hounded because their drivers didnt!

Hey I got a question. Maybe you haven't seen this firsthand within RBR but maybe at other teams. I've always wondered how expendable the F1 mechanics are. The dudes that change the tires during the pit stop. If one of them messes up and it's not equipment error but their own, do they really get replaced by the next GP or is the team more forgiving and just more practice with pit stops? Do they get fired for that kind of stuff or is it just an old wives tale?

Great vids - thanks for posting. Been a Vettel fan since his points score in the BMW at Indy, and also a fan of the Finns in general, whether F1, WRC, etc.

They all make the occaisional balls up , although they do practice quite regular and if there are many mistakes made, they work on that area.
I had a go at Silverstone once [ tyre test so no pressure!] I had only just picked the wheel gun up and the other 3 guys had already changed their wheel!!!!

So in answer to your question, if it was a string of balls ups then maybe but they come and go like any other employee. Most tend to be with us for years though.

I have a question about the prize vitrine though.
Are the driver's cups in there as well, or are these just the team cups.
It looks like a lot are doubles.

Good question. Looks as it's a bit like at McLaren where Ron Dennis collected the driver cups too. In the showcased vitrine there are 3 cups from several races, so I guess 2 driver cups + 1 constructor cup?

As a example, if we score a 1,2 finish we would get a trophy for both places plus the team get a trophy for being the race winning constructors.

In practice at the factory we have got to around 2 seconds flat to change all 4 wheels.

Malaysia pit timing just been confirmed 2.05 seconds.

That is increddibly quick indeed.
No TV station I know of picked that up actually.
When Mc Laren set the previous record of 2.31 at the German GP they were all over it.

What are the chances of you being able to send me a few pit passes for Austin? :P

I'd like to jump in on this as well. :D

Kimi and Vettel on the same team would be interesting. But I don't think they would stay friends for long after that.

They have been mates for a longtime and live a couple of miles apart. I think they have a lot more in common than Mark and Seb.

Tickets, not sure but i will ask the questions.

What I find interesting is that you have been authorized but the RedBull team to start making announcement here before the rest of the world hears about them.
I'm calling bullshit on this guy. When have you ever seen Redbull, and ESPECIALLY Redbull F1, do some half baked marketing on a discussion forum completely out of the blue ? Sorry, not buying it.
